May the Fourth Be With You!

It's no secret that I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I know more about Star Wars than I do about my household finances. I'm not Super Fan Status with RPG costumes and everything...

...but I do own a lightsaber. It's at mom's and I totally forget to grab that and my tiara. Damn. I digress.

Star Wars Fan Fiction is where I got my start. My very first completed novel was a Star Wars story called, "The Last Quest" about Luke, his son and granddaughters. My next completed novel was about Star Wars, though a spin off. I even tried to write directly into the timeline (before Mara Jade; I stopped when I started to have a girl crush on her).

But the story that I created just before the advent of Mara Jade was a sweeping epic that I love to this day. So much so that I'm rewriting it and putting in my sweep Space Opera epic, called the Vaheen Legacies, that might be done, someday...

Before I go and scrub them of all Star Wars mentions, I'd like to share 3 long excerpt with you all. This weekend, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I will be posting the excerpts on this blog, jrosealexander.blogspot.com, for you all to take a look at. I just think that this is a fun thing to do. While I'm going to self-edit them, please keep in mind that they are older fan fiction and far (like a galaxy far far away) from perfect.

So until then, May the Fourth Be With You.
